Why should you enroll your employees to our trenching and excavation training program?
Between December and July of 2022, 22 workers died in trenching and excavation related work (OSHA, 2022). With a statistic like that we do not need to jump into just how dangerous working in a trench or excavation can be, especially when workers are unaware of the dangers and unaware of how to spot the danger signs.
Joe Larson is a subject matter expert with four decades of experience working in excavations. He has firsthand experience with doing proper soil typing, selecting the best protection method and ensuring worker safety. In addition to have four decades of trenching and excavation experience he also has a degree in occupational safety and health. He knows how to get the job done and to stay in compliance while in the process. A session with Joe is an opportunity to pass that experience and know how to your employees without having wait forty years for them to gain the experience.
Code of Federal regulations 1926.21(b)(2) states that “The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury”. Failure to provide training is consistently in the top 10 OSHA most frequently cited violations. If we offered you a way to double the value of your training dollars would you take it? Here’s the value spend the training dollars required by the regulations and at the same time prepare your employees to more knowledgeable resources to your company.
